Wild dolphins. Your kind of day.
From Destin Harbor to Choctawhatchee Bay, a dolphin cruise pairs coastal scenery with the chance to see wildlife in its natural habitat. Choose a short sightseeing trip, an evening on the Southern Star, or a longer outing with Crab Island water play. Dolphins set their own schedule; sightings are never guaranteed.

Make room for an evening on the water, with coastal views as the light changes. Departure times follow the season; check your booking before arranging dinner afterward.
Trade a quick outing for a longer day with sandbar water play. A cruise that passes Crab Island is not the same as one that stops for swimming—read the inclusions carefully.

Before you board
Destin Harbor and Fort Walton Beach are different starting points. Check the exact meeting address and operator’s arrival instructions before you set off. Account for bridge traffic and parking rather than planning around the departure time alone.
Compare seating, shade, restrooms, passenger capacity, and boarding access on the individual listing. If someone in your party has limited mobility, ask the operator about the actual boat and dock before booking. Smaller vessels and larger tour boats can feel very different on the water.
Bring drinking water, sun protection, sunglasses, a secure phone or camera, and a light layer for the return trip. Follow the operator’s rules on food, drinks, and footwear. If you’re prone to motion sickness, ask a pharmacist or clinician about appropriate prevention before departure.
Look for a crew that gives dolphins space rather than chasing or crowding them. NOAA recommends staying at least 50 yards from dolphins and never feeding, touching, or swimming with them. Let the crew handle navigation and enjoy the encounter from the boat.
